Marketing for Small Businesses

Hello, the owner of a small business!

Are you thinking right now “I don’t need this! I have been doing fine without a nice logo or print materials or the dreadful online marketing, I print 250 business cards every now and then, and my customers like me as I am”? If so, than we need to have a serious conversation. “Everything fine as it is” is not going to last long. Are you convinced that a website is a nuisance and a burden, because your current clients know about the company already and don’t need to go to the web? Was your Facebook page set up back in 2014 and forgotten?

These and many other topics quite often pop-up in my conversations with the small businesses. I have an opinion on many marketing topics, from “print vs. digital” dilemma (hint: it shouldn’t be a dilemma!), to how often an e-mail blast should be sent out. I am willing to voice my opinion and willing to listen to yours.

Owners don’t want to be bothered with all the annoying words like “marketing strategy” and “promotional efforts”, and in general, they agree they need a marketing professional dealing with marketing issues. With that said, going to an agency scares the daylight out of the local businesses. Enter Illustrating Life. Small (1 person on staff + 2-3 contractors, hired when needed), friendly but persistent. Drop your marketing weight on me and let’s build your brand together!
